The Reluctant Dragon

`The Reluctant Dragon` is a beautiful story written by Kenneth Grahame and adapted by Toby Hulse, Bristol Old Vic. The production was directed by an ex senior lectuer at University of Wales, Trinity Saint David - Dr James McCarthy.

The play is about a young boy and his family who discover a dragon living nearby. Everybody who lives in the villages starts to worry about the dragon, except the young boy, who goes out to talk to the dragon, soon discovering that things are not what they seem.

This show was aimed at children and young families, and was toured around castles and stately homes across England and Wales of summer 2015.
